Here is an example of a beautiful project where the objective was to create a large open plan kitchen and lounge area which the family could enjoy together. In order to achieve this the height of the ceilings was raised dramatically to provide the sense of space and light required.
The existing kitchen had a low horizontal ceiling and dark brown units, which made the room feel dark. To transform the space we decided to take inspiration from the external existing roof design and create an impressive vaulted ceiling which took the overall design to the next level. The vaulted ceiling allowed us to incorporate full height glass panels and doors to allow natural light to flood into the new area creating a spacious, calm and inviting area for friends and family to enjoy.
